CanSkate & Pre-Power FAQ's

The following is a list of questions our Canskate parents have asked in the past.   If you have additional questions not covered here, please reach out to a coach or board member.

What do skaters wear?

Skaters must wear a helmet, mitts, and warm loose clothing.  Snow/rain pants are recommended for our newest skaters.

How old do skaters need to be for Canskate?

Skaters must be 4 years of age at the time of registration for our Canskate program

What is the Parent and Tot program?

This is a program for our youngest skaters and their parents.  Skaters must be the age of 3 at registration.  Both Parent and Child will need to pay the Skate Canada fee for insurance purposes.
