Club Rules

Club refund policy:

Refunds/Cancellations must be approved by the Executive, and will be reduced by $30 administration fee & prorated by the number of classes attended prior to the cancellation.  The Skate Canada fee of $44.00 is non-refundable, but can be applied to future sessions in the current skating season (Sept. 1 to Aug. 31 skating season).

 

Club rules and guidelines:

An adult that is responsible for each skater must be present in the arena (or waiting on arena grounds) during PreSchool, CanSkate, PrePower and CanSkate Junior sessions.

The club has a policy of zero tolerance to bullying.  A skater doing so will be cautioned once in the presence of their parent.  A second occurrence will constitute grounds for expulsion.

There will be NO make up days due to sickness, vacations, inclement weather or conflicting events, i.e. club competition or test days.  Notice will be posted in advance of club events.  

NO food, drink or gum is permitted on the ice.

Kicking, rough play and laying down unnecessarily are NOT allowed on the ice.

Lessons will start on time.  Please be prompt.

CanSkaters are NOT allowed to leave the ice without permission of the coach.

HELMETS; all skaters must wear a CSA certified hockey and MITTS unless passed stage 5 of CanSkate.

In case of inclement weather, skating will be cancelled if the Town of Caledon closes the arena.  We will send out an email.  Please ensure that we have your correct email address.  Cancellations due to inclement weather and or Town of Caledon closures will NOT be refunded or made up.

ALL PRIVATE Lessons must be arranged between the Parent/Skater and the coach.  This is NOT the responsibility of the club.  Coaches names and contact information are available on this site. 

 

Guest Skating - Guidelines

Junior, Intermediate & Senior skaters wishing to use extra ice time may guest skate on alternate ice time (at the same level) .

This does not include CanSkate, PrePower or PowerSkate.

Before going on the ice, complete a guest skater envelope, include your $ fees and drop in secure drop box at Bolton arena, or give to a coach.  

All guest skaters must be members of Skate Canada.

Guest skating fees:  $25

Skaters may guest skate a maximum of 5 times during the season.

There is no guest skating allowed during the week of a test day. (i.e. 7 days prior to test day)
